Whatever is good for Leah must be good for Ruby, so surprise surprise, Ruby decided she did want her burger after all! Love Leah's indignant look of surprise!

It's amazing what long-lost toys surface when you move house! Remember this box house from when Ruby was a hairless wee tot? It came with us to our new house and was swiftly the scene of a serious tea party.

Leah's of an age now that some of Ruby's toys are getting a second life. The piano is the current favourite! Ruby's pretty good, there's not too much 'but that's mine!' going on.
A couple of weeks ago, we took our little Thomas fan to a 'Thomas day out' put on by a vintage railway club. As Thomas would say, Ruby nearly 'burst her boilers' with excitement! Here she is with Daddy riding with Thomas. They are the little tiny heads directly where the blue engine connects with the red...
And a bit closer...
And riding in a proper carriage behind another engine, whose name I have forgotten. Bad mummy.
This is Bertie the Bus. He's grumpy, as you can see. So was Ruby, so she was refusing to have her photo taken with him. However, she did enjoy the ride and was tickled to hear all her favourite songs being played on the ride!
Ruby's bestest buddies came round for a play. They're twins, Amber and Jasmyn.
Nothing like a bit of rough and tumble play between giggling gerties. Amber's a lot smaller than Ruby, but don't worry - she can hold her own with her flying feet when she needs to!!
and this is their new baby brother, Hamish, getting to know Leah. Or vice versa, or something!
This is actually a photo taken to put on a star chart to remind Ruby to brush her teeth. After a visit to the local primary school's gala... face painted... as usual! She also had her first ride on a pony by herself ... but did we remember the camera? No! Doh. Wasn't as much fun as she thought it would be. All she would say was 'it was a bit wobbly'. Maybe next year!
This is a fuzzy blanket crocheted for Ruby by her Aunty Tracey. Leah was in love with it this day, pulling and plucking at the fuzzy bits with great glee.
This little piggy went home and snored and snored and snored. Piglet has been a part of our lives for a very long time now and is still going strong!
Another one of Ruby's old toys getting a new lease of life. Leah thinks she's the bee's knees sitting in this tent! And when you press the bell to make the music play and Ruby dances, it's unmitigated hilarity all round!
This is the stuff that makes having a 2nd baby worthwhile. Sisterhood. Completely unposed and unselfconscious. Both my babies watching the Wiggles together.
